Nominations are now open for the Goalball UK end of season awards, featuring the Goalfix Club of the Season and Goalfix Player of the Season.
This year the awards will focus on those who have made a contribution to their communities during the pandemic.
The last 20 months has brought with it numerous challenges, with the lack of competitive sport just one of them.
However the Goalball end of season awards provide an opportunity to say a big thank you to those who have used their time away from competitive sport to help others through this difficult period.
Goalball UK, said:
“In what has been a strange season with very little goalball, there has still been some outstanding contributions to our sport from the #GoalballFamily.
We are looking for nominations of people that have helped keep the #GoalballFamily together and supported clubs and members through the pandemic.
We are delighted that Goalfix Sports will be supporting the awards this year.”
Russell Warnock, Director at Goalfix, said:
“In what has been a truly testing period, the goalball community has continued to inspire us with their resilience and determination. We are really proud to be involved with the awards that will put the spotlight on some of these remarkable people and clubs.”
