About Goalfix

Goalfix Sports is a specialist supplier of disability sports equipment and high quality aluminium goals.

We are committed to providing safe, easy-to-use and long-lasting equipment and accessories for football, futsal and blind participation sports including goalball, torball and blind football.

Our products are recognised as some of the best on the market, having been designed and made in UK to the highest British safety standards.

We are proud to supply some of the most high-profile sporting venues and events around the world as well as schools, academies, universities, local authorities and both professional and junior football clubs across the UK. Our products are used or endorsed by bodies including the Paralympics, IBSA, the FA and County FAs.

You only have to meet Goalfix owners, father and son, John and Russell Warnock, to know what we are talking about. Having been Director of Football and Futsal for the International Federation for University Sport (FISU) for 28 years, Goalfix President, John Warnock MBE has travelled the world promoting equality and opportunity through sport.

Having also been Academy Director and Head of Youth Development at Sheffield United FC as well as Deputy Director of Sport and Recreation at Sheffield Hallam University, for nearly 30 years, he has dedicated his life to sport and education.

Our commitment to safe and fair play for all

At Goalfix we are passionate about ensuring safe and fair play for all. That passion comes from the fact that we are a family-run business with a background in education,  amateur and professional football, safety, design and equality at the highest levels in sport. We understand how players and governing bodies alike require sports equipment that is reliable and robust.

No one understands the importance of great design more than our Goalfix Director and Designer, Russell Warnock. Equality, safety, usability and durability – these key aspects must come together to make products that not only look the part but do their job – time after time.

Player safety is at the heart of what we do and the design of all our products. That is why all our clips, joints, fixings and materials have been specially designed to minimise risk and ensure safe play. We have an impeccable safety record and are constantly looking at ways to enhance our products and stay at the top of our game when it comes to safe sports equipment and accessories.

From the beginning we have strived to improve the way things are done – to make play on the pitch as safe as possible and help protect players from some of the serious injuries that have previously been associated with the sport. Indeed, Goalfix was born when we introduced the far safer round post futsal goal to the English FA, which FIFA approved.

Innovation

We invest in research and development and partner with leading sports research organisations to create products that lead the way in safe and fair play:

  • We worked with a leading University to improve the design of eyeshades for the partially sighted to ensure fair play for all during blind football matches. Our eyeshades were used for the 2017 IBSA Blind Football European Championships.
  • In goalball, Goalball UK commissioned us to make goalball goals for the IBSA Goalball World Championships 2010.
  • The Goalfix Flexiweight was designed to provide a safer anchoring system for goals instead of using the solid block weights that were on the market.
  • We designed clear rebound panels, for use in blind football, to give unrestricted views of all aspects of the game and provide spectators with a more engaging experience. The panels conform to IBSA standards and are designed to be safe, stable and easy to assemble.
