#ActiveAtHome from British Blind Sports
BBS have worked with their inclusive trainers to develop a programme to keep you healthy and active in the comfort of your own home.
There is a live workout week at the beginning of each month, with a different exercise class each night of the week at 6pm.
Classes include yoga, HIIT, Strength training, sports skills and more.

Get fit stay fit from Goalball UK
Goalball UK have started to compile a number of fitness videos specifically for the VI community on their Youtube account.
All focus on one particular exercise and are less than two minutes long.
Metro Blind Sports
Metro Bind sports are running a weekly exercise challenge and encouraging people to post themselves doing the weekly exercise challenge on social media.
You can find all of their challenges on a handy Youtube playlist.
Metro Blind Sports also have a chair Yoga session available on Youtube created with a visually impaired audience in mind.
Get Yourself Active – At Home
The charity Sense and Durham University have pre-recorded several accessible videos to support disabled people to get active at home during the coronavirus outbreak. The videos are developed from research and we have designed them using the experiences and feedback of disabled people and people with long term health conditions.
You can find all the videos here on Youtube, and there are more of their workouts here on their website.
Sense are running live online exercise sessions throughout lockdown. This includes boxing, Tai Chi and yoga. Sign up to their newsletter to receive updates about these, or email them on asw@sense.org.uk.
Eyes free fitness
The Eyes Free Youtube channel provides a number of exercise routines that you can do at home.
Playlists available range from pilates to a bootcamp style training program! All are fully accessible for the blind and VI community.

10 Today is a set of 10-minute audio workouts for older people intended to easily fit into your day to help get you stretching and moving at home.

Inclusive Tennis at Home
The Lawn Tennis Association have put together a wide selection of inclusive exercise videos including activities and games that anyone can get involved with at home.
This includes a video on playing tennis at home created alongside British Blind Sport

LOOK UK created some great audio described keep fit videos for VI kids – find them here.
Parasports
The parasports website has a stretching and mobility exercise that should help to keep the muscles and joints in good order if you’ve been doing a bit too many of the HIIT exercises above.
It could also act as a good warm up or warm down routine.
Sports England
Some additional workouts not specifically made for the VI Community are listed here on the Sports England website.
It includes links to Joe Wicks the body coach, a Nike fitness app and many more.
Yoga With Nes
This Youtube channel has a small number of audio described yoga sessions for the visually impaired.
